This section presents the main reference prices for international trade of the rice.
Base indicators
International prices: consists of import and export prices.
Estimated indicators
International world prices by type of rice (aromatic, high quality indica, low quality indica, japonica and glutinous).
-Aromatic rice includes: rice (ordinary basmati), rice (100% fragrant).
-High quality indica rice includes: rice (5% broken) rice (parboiled 100%), rice (Thai 100%), rice (US long grain 2.4%), rice (5% broken, long grain white).
-Low quality indica rice includes: rice (25% broken), Thai A1 Super rice).
-Japonica and glutinous includes: rice (10% glutinous, US California medium grain rice)
